This Might Kill Me

Oh my hell. I'm so hungry. Day 1.75 of my diet and I'm starving.

And before you tell me I need to fuel the machine, that I need to eat to lose, I am eating! Real food. Real healthy food. I'm just not gorging.

And my belly. It likes to be gorged. With cheese. And maybe a package of rice.

Oh me too! I'm using the Livestrong website you told me about to track my calories. It's astounding to see how quickly little snacks add up! I am eating healthy and I am starving! But I think it'll calm down once my stomach figures out it doesn't need pizza to live. Once it figures out that fish and veggies won't kill me I think I'll be OK...

That's a great site...and it's alarming the number of calories we mindlessly shove into our mouths.

Once I see a couple of pounds off the scale, I won't mind being hungry.

But for now I'm just going to go with being bitchy...and hungry. Makes up for being full.

I'm obsessed with the site. I changed my weight goal so now I am allowed to eat more than Wilson a day. We're all on a life change plan here. We're all overweight. Wilson has a vet appt in May and he needs to be 2 lbs lighter or I will get yelled at. And my vet personally knows Martha Stewart and Martha personally knows convicted felons.. and I don't want him calling in any favors.. if you know what I mean.

Mmmm...you're eating more than your dog and I'm eating like my dog. I just snarfed two pieces of whole wheat toast in two bites...no chewing, no tasting...down the hatch.

I need someone to hold me accountable, too. Steve's family has some old mafia connections...maybe one of them could threaten to make me some cement shoes if I don't lose 10lbs by 6/1. Just a thought.

I. Hate. The. Festive. Season.

I'm on day 3 of Mission Belly Reduction and have just had a very uninspiring lunch of tuna (canned) and rye biscuits for lunch. And of course EVERYTHING gets covered in peri-peri sauce. I got Grampa's love of fire.

So much better than yesterday's lunch - a handful of grapes and some rice biscuits with fat free cottage cheese. Bleuch.

And bleuch again.

HAHA! Suck it up ladies! After 5 years of controlling my appetite, watching what I eat and excersizing, I am finally down to the same weight I was when I left the Marine Corps 16 years ago. Guess what. 220lbs at 40 years old is NOT the same thing as 220lbs at 22 years old. Talk about pissed off! I electrified all of the tasty goodies in my house, and all that happened is I am now immune to electrocution. A piece of chicken with nothing on it, 10 calories. A piece of chicken with flavor of any kind, 100 calories. Calories are in the flavor, so cozy up to a cardboard box and fill up.
