Well, That Wasn't Supposed to Happen!

Dad has had a 6 month petscan and it wasn't as clean as it could be. He shows some glowing on the partial rib from which the tumor was removed. I'm sure he can explain it better, but the long and the short of it is that it is either post surgical something or another...and not at all worthy of worry...or something that should be long gone. He says that if the latter is true, he will need some spot radiation to take care of it. So, please pray that it is the former, rather than the latter.

We believe in the power you've already created.

Well dang the thang. I've got everything crossed and I know it is but a coyote turd in the trail of life.

I haven't been near my computer for friggin' ages, so the last 20 minutes have been a visual feast - new noses, new haircuts, new holiday spots - brilliant! New bright spot on the scan - not brilliant. In my minds eye I see it as a little lighthouse warning off those pesky visitors.

Keep us in the loop.

Speaking of pesky visitors, Mark and I popped up to Swazi for Dad's 60th (us being the pesky visitors - for clarity) last week. There really is nothing quite like the family activity of sampling red vino by the vat full, all in the name of celebration. Super fun time.

Unfortunately Bruce was playing chicken with a pride of lions along with a bunch of old school friends in Botswana (whole other story), so he couldn't make it, but we'll make up for it when he comes to Cape Town for a week in October. Can't wait to have the family all together.

Mart, how do I register?

Not cool, not cool at all. My fingers are most definitely crossed and my love and good karma going all the way across the ocean to one of my favourite uncles. With love from the newly single niece
